Most have heard of or even possess some kind of renewable energy products. Solar, wind, geothermal, ocean current and others are known as renewable sources. Outdated, dangerous, finite resources including tree lumber, oil, coal, has detrimental effects on the environment, wildlife and human health.
Every year there are thousands of animal - vehicle collisions on our roadways resulting in injuries, vehicle damage and death. Wildlife bridges are large structures that connect wild areas that contain vegetation of surrounding area that wildlife can use to travel across human occupied areas such as roads and highways. They have been proven to work as wildlife has been observed using them quite frequently. They can cost millions of dollars to build but the cost of annual injuries and death the wildlife bridges prevent is significantly greater. Numerous wildlife bridges have been utilized nationally and in various other countries. We need more sustainable wildlife bridges to be constructed as long as the human environmental intersection keeps growing .
A cleaner and sustainable development as an alternative to fossil fuels and more. Actual development on algae in biofuel initiated in the 1960s but Dr. Jonathan Trent has advanced the work of algae as a bio fuel in the 2010s.
Of course with any new innovation there is concern that it will not be sustainable due to costs in production which does include water, energy and time. As a society we are always trying to progress and I believe cultivating algae as a biofuel may end up being as utilized as wind and solar energy.
Algae can be used in other areas like polymer eating, bioplastic creation, pollution reduction, nutritional supplements, cosmetics and more.
One of the newer possible solutions that help reduce our major plastic pollution are microbes such as bacterium and fungus.
Advances have been found in genetically modified bacteria, fungus and algae that breakdown discarded plastic. Issues that have been shown are plastics have various types of polymers mixed within them that the plastic eating microbes don't consume. Certain microbes can only target certain plastic contents in specific environments and conditions. Degradation also takes quite a bit of time which currently is no contender for how much plastic we discard at a given time.

This is a great step towards reducing our dependence on hazardous fossil fuels. There are various auto manufacturers that are coming out with EV variations of their vehicles. A couple of drawbacks folks have brought up is the cost, the minerals that go into the production of batteries and the learning of the new technology. Fair enough but as long as the vehicle is maintained well it will be more affordable than gasoline powered vehicles in the long run.
The sourcing of the minerals that are used in the batteries has also been an issue, one is deep sea mining, is ideally where the ocean floor is bulldozed and destroyed for very minute amounts of these minerals. This is a definite cause for concern because deep sea mining should not be happening. Please research as not all manufacturers use this method and those who do should lose business. Our ocean's delicate ecosystems should be protected as we all depend on them for survival, including our oxygen. Please take action to help protect our seas from human destructive practices.
Many times these vehicles have features and components folks that are used to gas powered vehicles are not used to. Research and education can vastly help. In some vehicles there maybe the possibility of modifications to assist.

Other countries are bringing their own models to the stage. Brazil's particular model is said to be able to plant 1800 trees a hour. Not only does it plant trees but can identify weeds, pests, stress, disease and hypothesis potential yield. Most likely more in the future.
There is so much potential in this technology not just for trees but for agriculture. We must be cognizant as agriculture has been the cause of so much pollution and habitat destruction. We must look for alternative farming methods that uses less land, resources and creates less pollution. Perhaps future AI robots can assist in more environmentally friendly farming methods as well.
We should be using these robots as tools not total replacements as no technology is 100% without fault. While AI robots could help tremendously with labor, tracking and analysis it is important to remember we should not withdraw ourselves from the equation. These machines need maintenance, programming and oversight to keep things moving forward. In an ever evolving technological world we must always remember to get our hands dirty every now and again to keep ourselves rooted.
